T.A DÉCOR fragments the spaces of GDL525 into sets for the mise-en-scène of a chamber play, breaking the domestic into the theatrical. Themes of love, ownership, property, self-hood, attraction-repulsion loop on each other as overly romanticized bourgeois fetishes, in the articulation of a new-realist narcoleptic tragedy on the nightmare edge of the sheltered world.

The piece marks the first presentation of T.A DÉCOR, a nom de plume for the collaborative practice of Rin Suemitsu and Filippo Tocchi, producing music, text, objects and scenography for context specific stagings and scenarios, working with an ensemble and a revolving cast of collaborators. T.A DECOR has been conceived and developed together with performer and long term collaborator Mina Tomic at GDL525 over the course of the year.
